The Flaming Lips, MGMT headline Treasure Island Festival

The Flaming Lips , MGMT and The Decemberists are among the two-dozen acts scheduled for San Francisco's third annual Treasure Island Music Festival this fall.

The two-day event, slated for Oct. 17-18, will continue its tradition of dividing the genres up by day: Saturday (10/17) will feature electronica and hip-hop/rap acts like MGMT, MSTRKRFT and Girl Talk, while indie-rock bands including Beirut, The Decemberists and Grizzly Bear will take the stage Sunday (10/18).

Other artists on the schedule include Brazilian Girls, The Streets, Passion Pit, LTJ Bukem featuring MC Conrad, DJ Krush, Federico Aubele, Dan Deacon, Murs, Crown City Rockers, The Limousines, Yo La Tengo, The Walkmen, Bob Mould, Thao with The Get Down Stay Down, Vetiver, Spiral Stairs, Sleepy Sun, Tommy Guerrero and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.

Early bird two-day passes and VIP tickets are available now via Ticketmaster, while single day tickets go on sale Friday (7/17). (LiveDaily is an operating unit of Ticketmaster Entertainment, which also owns Ticketmaster.)
