Tom Petty raises thousands for Midwest flood victims

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers raised more than $85,000 for Habitat for Humanity through a special auction of front row and premium seats during their summer tour. All proceeds from the auction, including face value of the tickets, will go to Habitat's affiliates in areas affected by the June 2008 floods in the Midwest, according to a press release.

Ticketmaster, LiveDaily's parent company, waived its fees for the tickets and coordinated the auction for the band.
