Tracy Byrd logs more miles on the fair circuit

Country singer Tracy Byrd , who released his second best-of compilation in February, is spending the summer tackling an ambitious itinerary that will take him to dozens of fairs and festivals, as well as a few clubs.
The bulk of Byrd's schedule is focused west of the Mississippi and in Canada. Details are in the itinerary below.
If fans are lucky, they might find Byrd hobnobbing with fans after the show.
"Lately, besides the meet-and-greets at the concert venues, I find myself getting out of the bus after the show like I used to do, standing outside signing autographs and visiting with everybody," the Texas native said in a statement. "It's like you find a new appreciation for your career and the fact that people still love the music."
In February, Byrd's "Greatest Hits II" hit stores. Among the album's tracks are new recordings of Byrd's early hits, including "I'm from the Country," "Watermelon Crawl" and his biggest hit, "The Keeper of the Stars."
Also included in the collection are previously released versions of several other songs, including "Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo," "The Truth About Men," "Drinkin' Bone" and "Revenge of a Middle-Aged Woman."
