Weekend Ticketing: Dave Matthews Band, Billy Joel & Elton John, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, George Thorogood
The Dave Matthews Band will issue its first new studio album in four years on April 14, and will launch a tour the same day.
On-sales get underway Friday (1/16) for the band's Nashville engagement, and tickets will hit the box office Saturday (1/17) for stops in New York City; Las Vegas; East Rutherford, NJ; Raleigh, NC (via LiveNation); Charlottesville, NC (via John Paul Jones Arena); and Charlotte, NC (via LiveNation).

Elton John and Billy Joel have added a few new dates to their upcoming "Face 2 Face" tour, which launches in early spring and is expected to run for parts of the next two years.
Saturday (1/17) on-sales are lined up for the duo's stops in St. Louis, Cleveland, Indianapolis and Omaha, NE.

Rascal Flatts has been touring behind "Still Feels Good" for more than a year and will continue that trek with another coast-to-coast run that launches this weekend. Singer/actress Jessica Simpson will fill the support slot.
Tickets hit the market Saturday (1/17) for shows in Houston, Salt Lake City and Denver.

Kenny Chesney has announced the first batch of dates for his 2009 "Sun City Carnival" tour, a trek that will keep him on the road through September.
Tickets roll out Friday (1/16) for Chesney's two-night stand at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Casino.

George Thorogood and the Destroyers will hit the road next month, with the band launching a month-long headlining tour running into early spring.
On-sales are lined up Friday (1/16) for tickets to the veteran rockers' stop in Cleveland, Saturday (1/17) for a Boston engagement, and Monday (1/19) for tickets in Salamanca, NY.
