John Mayer will head out on the road early next year to begin supporting his just-released fourth studio album, "Battle Studies."
Ticket on-sales are set for Friday (11/20) in Columbus, OH; and Greensboro, NC. Saturday (11/21) on-sales are lined up in Birmingham, AL; Nashville; Uncasville, CT; Washington, DC; Boston; New York City; Milwaukee; Omaha, NE; Oklahoma City; Dallas; New Orleans; Louisville, KY; Atlanta; Memphis; St. Louis; Kansas City, MO; San Jose, CA; Seattle; Fargo, ND; and Chicago.

Jay-Z recently scrapped the remainder of his 2009 tour dates behind his latest studio set, "The Blueprint 3," citing conflicts in scheduling. The early 2010 leg of the performer's "BP3" tour continues to gather steam, however, with a handful of fresh dates recently added to an already full-sized schedule.
Tickets hit the box office Friday (11/20) in Sunrise, FL; and on Saturday (11/21) in East Rutherford, NJ; Long Island, NY; Auburn Hills, MI; and Chicago.

U2 continues to make plans to bring its massive 360 Tour back to North America next year so that the Irish rock icons can hit markets they missed during their travels this summer and fall.
Tickets roll out Friday (11/20) in Anaheim, CA; Saturday (11/21) in Minneapolis; and Monday (11/23) in East Lansing, MI.

Slayer and Megadeth --whose fall 2009 co-headlining run through Canada recently got waylaid when Slayer frontman Tom Araya had to undergo back surgery--will travel the US together in early 2010 on their American Carnage tour. The run will also feature fellow metal veterans Testament.
Tickets go on sale Friday (11/20) in Seattle; Daly City, CA; Denver; El Paso, TX; Nashville; Atlanta; Detroit; East Rutherford, NJ; and Lowell, MA. A Saturday (11/21) on-sale is set for Long Beach, CA.

Phish will say goodbye to 2009 with a string of performances at Miami's American Airlines Arena, including a three-set New Year's Eve show.
