Pop-punkers The All-American Rejects set out at the end of the month for a North American run behind their 2005 release, "Move Along," and have tapped female-helmed rock quartet Damone to open.
The two bands take to the road starting with a June 30 show in Indianapolis, and will remain linked for 15 July dates that include a swing through Canada.h. Details are included below.
Released last July, AAR's latest album features the hit singles "Dirty Little Secret," which climbed to No. 9 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart earlier this year, and "Move Along," the music video for which spent a good deal of time lodged in the top spot on MTV's "TRL." The disc also houses the track "Night Drive," which is used in the "Madden NFL 2006" video game.
On Saturday (6/24), AAR will perform at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA. Show sponsor American Eagle Outfitters plans to broadcast the event live via its website. Additional details are posted at the band's website.
Damone is pounding the pavement behind its recently released sophomore set, "Out Here All Night," the title track from which has been grabbing some traction on rock radio. The video for the cut is streaming at Damone's website.
After finishing up its opening stint with AAR, Damone will jump on board the Warped Tour caravan from July 30 through Aug. 11.
