An upcoming Madonna concert at London's Wembley Arena will be filmed for a two-hour concert special that will air on NBC-TV this November, the network announced.
The special, dubbed "Madonna: The Confessions Tour Live," will mark the artist's first concert performance to air on a broadcast network. (Past concerts have been broadcast on cable outlets.)
"Madonna is one of the greatest artists of our time and never fails to generate excitement," Kevin Reilly, NBC Entertainment president, said in a press release. "We think this is going to be a big event for television."
The songs featured in the concert special will include material from Madonna's latest album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor," along with many of the hits from throughout her career.
Madonna wraps up the North American leg of her tour this weekend in Miami. The European leg opens July 30, and includes eight August performances at Wembley Arena.
