The Rolling Stones launched their latest round of North American tour dates Wednesday (9/20) in the Boston area. Meanwhile, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have expanded their fall schedule to include a stop in Honolulu.
The newly announced show in Hawaii is set for Nov. 22 at Aloha Stadium and, as it now stands, is the final date on the group's current US/Canada tour. Tickets for the Honolulu show go on sale to the general public Sept. 30, according to the Stones' official website.
The Stones' currently confirmed itinerary, with opening acts as available, is below.
The Stones opened their current "A Bigger Bang" world tour in August 2005 at Boston's Fenway Park, returned to the city to play a pair of packed arena shows in January, and revisited the region last night for yet another sold-out gig at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.
"Folks who've faithfully attended all concerts were no doubt pleased with a substantially rejuvenated list of songs," Boston Herald reviewer Christopher John Treacy wrote of last night's show.
The Stones continue to tour behind last year's "A Bigger Bang," the group's first new studio set since 1997's "Bridges to Babylon." The disc debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
