Saliva takes 'Blood Stained Love Story' across US

Alt-metal rockers Saliva are gearing up for the January release of their forthcoming album, "Blood Stained Love Story," adding new dates to a tour that now stretches well into December.

They'll hit US cities from Florida to California for the next month. Details are included below.

"Blood Stained Love Story," Saliva's fourth album for Island Records, is the follow-up to 2004's "Survival of the Sickest," which debuted at No. 20 on Billboard's album chart. The new record's first single, "Ladies and Gentlemen," has already been added at active-rock radio, and is also streaming on the band's MySpace page.

The Memphis-based rockers resumed their tour schedule in October, after they were briefly sidelined when frontman Josey Scott was in an August automobile accident, according to a statement at Island's Saliva webpage.

Besides recording the new Saliva album and touring, Scott has kept busy with his acting career, appearing in the film "Hustle and Flow" and in the television show "Wanted" on TBS.
