Shooter Jennings tackles the West

Shooter Jennings and The .357s have released preliminary dates for a 2007 tour slated to begin Feb. 2 in Tucson, AZ.

An itinerary posted at Jennings' website includes additional stops in Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas and California. Among the California appearances is a May stop in San Juan Capistrano, which is a make-up date for a show originally scheduled to take place this month. Details about all the shows are listed below.

Jennings--the son of country legend Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter--and his band are touring in support of "Shooter Jennings and The .357s Live at Irving Plaza 4.18.06," which hit stores in October. The video for the album track
"It Ain't Easy" recently debuted on the cable channel CMT.

According to a posting on his website, Jennings will begin working on a new album "shortly." His catalog also includes 2005's "Put the 'O' Back in Country" and 2006's "Electric Rodeo."
