
Alt-rockers AFI have added a few new shows to their early-year headlining tour as the band continues to build momentum behind last year's chart-topping "Decemberunderground."
The California punk revivalists have extended their February tour into March, adding a half-dozen West Coast appearances onto their schedule, which is included below. Fellow alt-rockers Sick of it All and The Dear and Departed will offer opening support on the trek.
Tickets for four of the new shows go on sale Sunday (1/27), with the remaining pair of concerts going public Feb. 3.
AFI has made available online a few recent live performances. The group's covers of David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" and Blur's "Song 2" can be found at the AFI's
Released last June, "Decemberunderground" sold about 182,000 copies during its first week in stores, enough to debut atop The Billboard 200 album chart. The feat marks AFI's first No. 1 disc. The new set features the hit single "Miss Murder."
