Organizers of the hard-rockin' Ozzfest tour announced today (4/9) the procedure by which fans can score their free tickets for the US outing, which will feature Ozzy Osbourne , Lamb of God and Finnish band Lordi on the mainstage.
Beginning May 12, ticket codes will be distributed through sponsor websites, which can be found at the official sites of Ozzfest, tour producer Live Nation, Monster Energy, Jagermeister Music and F.Y.E. The codes can then be redeemed for tickets beginning June 12--exactly one month before Ozzfest kicks off in Auburn, WA.
To download tickets to the show of their choice, fans will return to the site where they registered, or to Live Nation's Ozzfest page, enter their code. There is a two-show limit per fan.
The sponsors will also offer offline initiatives, details of which can be found at their respective websites.
The 12th annual Ozzfest--dubbed "FreeFest" this year--will also feature Hatebreed as the second-stage headliner, plus Mondo Generator, Ankla, Circus Diablo, Nile, The Showdown, Behemoth, 3 Inches of Blood, Daath, Chthonic, and In This Moment. Tour dates are listed below.
Earlier this year, Ozzfest organizers announced that the hard rock extravaganza would be free for the first time in a move to "redefine a concert industry marred by rising ticket prices."
