Amy Winehouse pairs up with Paolo Nutini for fall tour

British singer/songwriters Amy Winehouse and Paolo Nutini will team up on a September American tour as both continue to push their respective new albums.

The pair will kick off the eight-city outing Sept. 12 in New York City. The brief tour lands in major cities on both coasts before coming to a Sept. 29 close in Chicago. The full itinerary is included below.

Winehouse is supporting the US release of her second album, "Back to Black." The disc, which hit UK stores last October, is Winehouse's follow-up to her 2003 debut, "Frank." The new album has sold 560,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, making it the 23rd best-selling album of the year.

Scottish singer Nutini's debut for the Atlantic label, "These Streets," was released late last year and has sold 106,000 copies so far, according to Billboard.com.

Nutini, who signed with Atlantic Records in 2005 ,when he was only 17 years old, released his first single, "Last Request," in mid-2006, and the song ultimately reached the No. 5 slot on the UK charts.
