Gill To Host CMA Awards For The 9th Time
For the 9th consecutive year, Vince Gill will be hosting the Country Music Association's award ceremony, to be held at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House on October 4 for telecast on CBS.
Last year, Gill and Patty Loveless won the CMA's Vocal Event of the Year award for "My Kind of Woman/My Kind of Man."
The CMA says that its objectives "are to guide and enhance the growth of Country Music and to demonstrate it as a viable medium to advertisers, consumers and media throughout the world."
