Josh Groban stays in the top slot on The Billboard 200 album chart, moving 757,000 copies of "Noel" in the US to remain No. 1 for the fifth straight week, the first Christmas album ever to do so, according to Billboard.
Groban held off Mary J. Blige 's fast-moving "Growing Pains," which sold 629,000 copies to land in the No. 2 spot in its debut week. The Billboard 200 is based on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
Alicia Keys slipped to the third spot on the chart despite a 62% sales spike for her latest record, "As I Am," which sold 474,000, a gain of almost 200,000 copies over last week.
The Eagles ' comeback effort, "Long Road Out of Eden," slips to No. 4 with 313,000 units sold, while Miley Cyrus ' "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus" rises from 7th to 5th with 260,000 copies sold, a gain of 46% over the previous week, according to Nielsen.
Rounding out the Top 10 are the "Now 26" hits compilation, Carrie Underwood 's "Carnival Ride," Taylor Swift 's self-titled debut, Disney's "High School Musical 2" soundtrack and Chris Brown 's "Exclusive."
