Alt-rockers Yellowcard have a digital live album coming out next week ahead of their spring headlining jaunt.
The forthcoming set, "Live from Las Vegas at the Palms" will be released exclusively through Apple's iTunes Music Store beginning next Tuesday (1/22). The album, recorded in October at Sin City's Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms, features several tracks from Yellowcard's latest offering, "Paper Walls," including lead single "Light Up the Sky." It also comprises cuts from the band's 2003 double-platinum Capitol Records debut, "Ocean Avenue," as well as its 2006 gold-certified follow-up, "Lights and Sounds."
Fans who purchase "Live from Las Vegas" in its first week (Jan. 22-28) will receive a code to score advance tickets to Yellowcard's upcoming tour through Ticketmaster (LiveDaily's parent company).
The outing is scheduled to kick off March 7 in Salt Lake City, UT, and criss-cross the US, wrapping with an April 12 gig in Los Angeles. Details are listed below. Tickets go on sale to the general public Feb. 2.
On tour, Yellowcard will play an acoustic set, with opening bands MxPx, Play Radio Play and Treaty of Paris performing plugged in.
Yellowcard has been on the road since the July release of "Paper Walls," including a summer stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a winter run supporting Linkin Park in Japan. The Jacksonville, FL-based bandmates just returned from the Persian Gulf, where they played for US troops as part of a USO entertainment tour.
