A dance festival and a series of visual arts installations will also enhance the event's arts foundation.

Three comedy stages will also be featured, with a rotating selection of both national and local stand-up comics, along with the 13th annual 1 Reel Film Festival, curated by the Seattle International Film Festival. The film festival features "live-action, animated, experimental, and documentary short films," according to a press release.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now through the event's website. A three-day pass goes for $80 through Aug. 15, when the price rises to $100 per admission. Single-day tickets will go on sale July 15.

Last year's edition of the Bumbershoot festival featured The Shins, Wu-Tang Clan, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists and Panic at the Disco, among others.
