Joshua Radin heads out with Missy Higgins

Singer/songwriters Joshua Radin and Missy Higgins are teaming up for a North American fall tour.

The outing is set to kick off Oct. 3 in Rochester, NY, and visit 19 US cities from coast to coast, as well as Vancouver, through mid-November. Details are listed below.

Radin recently wrapped a headline jaunt to preview material from his sophomore release, "Simple Times," which is currently available at Apple's iTunes Music Store. The album, produced by Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith, Beck) and the legendary Rick Rubin, will hit brick-and-mortar stores Sept. 30.

Radin's previous effort, 2006's "We Were Here," was originally an indie release that became a hit on iTunes and prompted a major-label bidding war, according to his bio. He signed on with Columbia Records, which re-released the album without changing a thing.

Higgins is also supporting her sophomore set, "On a Clear Night," which was released in her native Australia last year and arrived in the US earlier this year. The record was awarded the Highest-Selling Australian Album honor of 2007 and earned Higgins a second ARIA Award (Australia's Grammy) for Best Female Artist.

Higgins made her recording debut with 2004's "The Sound of White," which sold more than a half million copies in Australia and remained on the country's Top 100 chart for more than two years.

The songstress will spend most of this month supporting the Indigo Girls and Ben Folds. Her full schedule is available at her website.
