The Naked Brothers dress up for debut outing

Nickelodeon stars Nat & Alex Wolff --a.k.a. The Naked Brothers Band--are getting ready to launch their first national music tour.

The "Nat & Alex Wolff: Fully Clothed & On Tour" is set to launch Nov. 1 in Asbury Park, NJ, and stop by 13 US nightclubs and theaters on weekends. The trek will hit major markets including Philadelphia, Chicago, New Orleans, Boston and Los Angeles, with a two-night stand booked in New York City. The full schedule is listed below.

The tween sensations will showcase music from their two "Naked Brothers Band" soundtracks: April's "I Don't Want to Go to School" and last year's self-titled debut. Both sets reached No. 23 on The Billboard 200 and "I Don't Want to Go to School" stayed on the chart for 10 weeks, according to a press release.

Meanwhile, the brothers will kick off the third season of their Nickelodeon mockumentary series with a special hour-long movie titled "Mystery Girl," which premieres on the cable network Oct. 18. They've written 13 more songs for the new season.

"The Naked Brothers Band" series was inspired by the Wolff siblings' real-life pre-school band. The show, filmed in a reality-TV style, depicts the trials and tribulations of a world-famous rock group and the members' adolescent experiences. In addition to sensitive singer/songwriter Nat, 13, and energetic drummer Alex, 10, The Naked Brothers Band includes real-life friends and bandmates from the tween stars' pre-school days.

The original bubblegum pop-rock featured in the series and on the albums is written by Nat and Alex Wolff. Several of their songs are streaming at the band's MySpace page.
