As expected, Australian pre-school faves The Wiggles will return to North America for a "Romp Bomp A Stompin'" fall outing.
The fab four of the toddler set will start with an Oct. 23 gig in Cleveland and launch a five-night run through Ontario, Canada, before returning to the US for 20 more dates around the East Coast. Most of the stops on the "Pop Go The Wiggles Live!" tour include two performances. The itinerary is listed below and further information about show times and tickets can be found at The Wiggles' website.
The group's song-and-dance extravaganza has youngsters wiggling in the aisles, doing the "Hot Potato," "The Monkey Dance" and other signature moves with colorful characters Sam, Murray, Jeff and Anthony, and special guests Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword.
Last month, it was announced that The Wiggles are the top-earning Australian entertainers for the fourth year in a row. The group earned $45 million last year, topping Aussie celebrities including pop star Kylie Minogue and actor Russell Crowe, according to The Australian.
During their 17-year-career, the children's entertainers have amassed a hefty catalog of music, television, video and film projects. They have sold more than 23 million DVDs and upwards of 7 million CDs worldwide, according to a press release.
In July, the group put out "The Wiggles: You Make Me Feel Like Dancing," a DVD that features 20 new songs and special guest Leo Sayer.
The Wiggles are known for performing more than 200 concerts across four continents every year, including three annual tours of North America.
