Indie-pop duo Mates of State have extended their ongoing "Re-Arranger Tour" into November with a fresh slate of headlining shows behind the act's latest studio album.
The husband-and-wife pair of Kori Gardner and Jason Hammel--who are currently finishing up a supporting run with Santogold that continues tonight (10/11) in Las Vegas--kick off the newly minted run Nov. 7 in Asbury Park, NJ.
Vocalist/keyboardist Gardner and multi-instrumentalist Hammel will be joined on the upcoming dates by Linnea Weiss (cello) and Chris Cosgrove (guitar, bass, electronics). Los Angeles hip-hop duo Brother Reade will offer opening support. Dates are included below.
"Re-Arrange Us," Mates of State's fifth studio album, hit stores in May. The set was recorded in three different cities with a trio of producers, including Death Cab For Cutie's Chris Walla and Spoon drummer Jim Eno, along with Peter Katis (The Twilight Sad, The National).
Several videos of songs from the new album can be found streaming at the Mates' website.
