Joshua Radin maps co-headlining tour with Dar Williams

Singer/songwriter Joshua Radin has lined up a winter co-headlining outing with songbird Dar Williams, with both performers supporting recent studio releases.

The trek gets underway Jan. 21 in Rochester, NY, and then moves south along the Atlantic Seaboard toward a sunny conclusion in Florida in early February. Dates for the 12-city trek are below.

"Simple Times," Radin's sophomore set, was produced by Rob Schnapf (Elliot Smith, Beck) and the legendary Rick Rubin. The album, which hit stores in late September, debuted at No. 34 on The Billboard 200 chart. Streaming samples from the set can be heard at Radin's website.

Radin's previous effort, 2006's "We Were Here," was originally an indie release that became a hit on iTunes and prompted a major-label bidding war, according to his bio. He signed on with Columbia Records, which re-released the album in its original form.

Williams is supporting September's "Promised Land," her first album of original material in more than three years. The set, produced by Brad Wood (Liz Phair, Smashing Pumpkins), covers a wide range of social and political topics, and features guest artists including Marshall Crenshaw, Suzanne Vega and Gary Louris from the Jayhawks.
