George Thorogood and the Destroyers will hit the road next month, with the band launching a month-long headlining tour running into early spring.
The blues-rocker and his band kick off the outing Feb. 26 in Milwaukee, with the 22-city trek passing through nightclubs, small theaters and casinos through late March. Highlights include stops in Boston (3/12), Atlantic City (3/21) and Cleveland (3/25); dates are below.
Thorogood and the Destroyers continue to support their latest release, "The Hard Stuff," which surfaced in May 2006. The set features a number of originals, as well as covers of several obscure blues tunes, including Jimmy Reed's "Little Rain," Hound Dog Taylor's "Give Me Back My Wig," Fats Domino's "Hello Josephine" and Johnny Shines' "Dynaflow Blues."
Streaming cuts from the album can be heard at Thorogood's website.
In 2007, the Thorogood and the Destroyers released "Bad to the Bone: 25th Anniversary Edition," which features a digitally remastered version of the gold-certified album, plus six newly recorded album tracks and a rare B-side.
