Album Chart: Taylor Swift continues 'Fearless' reign at No. 1

With no new competition to speak of, country singer Taylor Swift maintains her grip on the top of the US album chart with her latest release, "Fearless."

Logging sales of 72,000 copies during its latest week in stores, "Fearless" will spend its sixth non-consecutive week in the No. 1 slot on The Billboard 200. The feat marks the first time an album has spent six weeks atop the chart since 50 Cent's "The Massacre" did so in 2005, according to Billboard. (Billboard bases its flagship chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail data.)

Meanwhile, Nickelback's "Dark Horse" makes a surge from No. 5 to No. 2 with sales of 53,000 copies, Kanye West's "808s and Heartbreak" stays put at No. 3 with 50,000 copies, Beyonce's "I Am ... Sasha Fierce" drops two notches to No. 4 with 49,000 copies, and the "Twilight" soundtrack dips one spot to No. 5 with 43,000 copies.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Britney Spears' "Circus" at No. 6 with 40,000 copies, Keyishia Cole's "A Different Me" at No. 7 with 37,000 copies, Jamie Foxx's "Intuition" at No. 8 with 34,000 copies, the "Now 29" hits compilation at No. 9 with 30,000 copies, and Akon's "Freedom" at No. 10 with 27,000 copies.
