We the Kings to headline Bamboozle Roadshow

Alt-rockers We the Kings and Forever the Sickest Kids will lead the lineup for the 2009 edition of the traveling Bamboozle Roadshow festival, organizers have revealed.

The two bands--along with The Cab, NeverShoutNever! and Mercy Mercedes--kick off the trek April 5 in Tucson, AZ. The tour is currently scheduled to hit 22 cities during the month of April. Dates are below.

The Bamboozle Roadshow made its debut last year as a spin-off of the annual two-day Bamboozle festival held in New Jersey (along with its recently launched West Coast counterpart, Bamboozle Left, which took place last year in Irvine, CA). Last year's Bamboozle Roadshow featured Saves the Day and Armor For Sleep, among other acts, and traveled to 30 US cities.

Florida-based We the Kings continue to support their self-titled 2007 debut album, along with their recent "Secret Valentine" EP, which hit stores last month. Early last year, the group's single "Check Yes Juliet" was featured at the iTunes Store as a free single of the week; a few months later, the song was used in an episode of MTV's "The Hills."

Texas power-poppers Forever the Sickest Kids released their debut LP, "Underdog Alma Mater," last April, while Las Vegas natives The Cab are supporting their 2008 debut, "Whisper War."

Singer/songwriter Christofer Ingle, who performs and records under the moniker NeverShoutNever!, is currently working on his debut full-length album. "Me & My Uke," an EP of Ingle accompanying himself on ukulele, is due later this month.

North Carolina's Mercy Mercedes is supporting its debut EP, "Casio Rodeo," and currently working on its full-length debut.
