Ratatat maps spring headlining trek

Indie electronic-pop duo Ratatat will mount a run of headlining dates this spring as the band continues to support it's third studio album, last year's "LP3."

The pair--multi-instrumentalist/programmer Evan Mast and guitarist Mike Stroud--will kick off the trek March 21 in Cincinnati, OH, and the month-long outing will hit 23 cities from coast to coast, culminating in an April 21 appearance in New York City. Dates are below.

The duo holed up in a recording studio in upstate New York to record and self-produce "LP3," which follows 2006's "Classics" and their 2004 self-titled debut.

A track from the new set, "Mirando," is streaming at the group's MySpace page. The song was recently released as a single on 12" vinyl, with the flip side including a remix of the tune by indie-popsters Animal Collective.

Aside from his day job with Ratatat, Mast releases records as laptop-pop outfit E*Vax and is a co-founder of indie-electronic label Audio Dregs Records. Stroud plays in the studio and on tour with artists including Dashboard Confessional and Ben Kweller.
