The Rolling Stones lips and tongue logo has been sold to London's Victoria and Albert Museum for $92,500, according to BBC news. V&A's Victoria Broakes said the symbol, which was originally designed in 1970 by an art student, is arguably the world's most famous rock logo.
Artist John Pasche, who sold the original work of art, was paid less than $100 when he created the design. The band was so happy with the lips and tongue, they gave him a few hundred bucks in 1972 as a bonus.
