You'll probably never hear a high school guidance counselor talk about Grammy Award winning hip-hop artist LL Cool J . He's one of the lucky few who found great success despite dropping out at the age of 17--though he did have a record deal with Def Jam in hand before making the decision.
More than two decades and 13 albums later, LL is exiting the record label, hence the title of his final album "Exit 13." The mix features the single "Baby" as well as the timely "Mr. President."
Fans can catch him as the special guest of the Janet Jackson 's "Rock Witchu" tour, with the remaining dates tomorrow night (10/28) in Auburn Hills, MI, and Saturday (11/1) in New York City.
LiveDaily contributing photographer Lyle A. Waisman attended LL Cool J's solo show at the House of Blues in Chicago on Saturday night (10/25) and took photos of the man in action.
