Illness has prompted Celine Dion to postpone tomorrow night's (10/30) previously scheduled concert in Minneapolis.
"Celine, who has been battling a respiratory virus for the past week, performed the second of two consecutive shows in Winnipeg last night, but left the stage weak and breathless," reads a message posted today at tour promoter AEG Live's website. "Her doctor stated that despite antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, bronchodilators and mucolytic agents prescribed for her condition, she has continued to worsen and he insists that she refrain from singing for the next five days, in order for her to recover completely."
Dion's tour is expected to resume next Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the United Center in Chicago, and the postponed Minneapolis show is now scheduled to take place Feb. 5.
