Cheech & Chong to film concert movie
Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong plan to release a concert movie that will be filmed during their current reunion tour, the duo's first outing in 25 years.
The " Cheech & Chong : Light Up America" tour, which officially kicked off Sept. 26, will be recorded for a feature-length television program, and subsequently released on DVD, according to a press release.
Marin and Chong began performing together on the stand-up comedy circuit. As they met with success, they released eight films and nine comedy albums, which earned multiple Grammy nominations.
The reunion tour will continue through 2009 in the US and abroad.
