Headliner says Musink festival is canceled
According to Social Distortion's official website, next year's planed Musink Tattoo and Music Festival has been called off.
"Due to complications within the Musink touring company and outside of Social Distortion's control the Musink tour featuring Social D has been shelved by tour organizers," reads the statement.
The inaugural touring version of the festival, conceived by celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D, was scheduled to launch Jan. 30 and hit 25 major US cities. Motorhead was also scheduled to be on the bill.
The tour was to be an expansion of last February's three-day Musink event in Orange County, CA, and was to include top tattoo artists, extreme sports demonstrations, a technology village and vendors.
