Fall Out Boy has announced plans for a one-night-only movie-theater showing of the band's recently recorded concert in New York City.
Set to hit screens in 31 states on Jan. 18, the digital-cinema broadcast--dubbed "Fall Out Boy LIVE - Folie a Deux NYC to LA,"--will feature the group's Dec. 16 performance at the Big Apple's Nokia Theater, and will also include a live introduction from the band. Details on which theaters will be showing the film is available at Cinedigm.com.
"We're excited to reach audiences all over the country in this new way," frontman Patrick Stump said in a prepared statement. "We're very proud of our new album and our Dec. 15 concert at the Nokia Theater Times Square and we're excited to speak live to our fans on January 18th through this nationwide cinecast."
The New York City concert marked the release that same day of Fall Out Boy's sixth studio set, "Folie a Deux." The album debuted at No. 8 on The Billboard 200 chart after selling about 150,000 copies its first week in stores.
