Adkins, McBride, McEntire among CMA headliners
Trace Adkins , Martina McBride and Reba McEntire will be among the performers at the 2009 CMA Music Festival, scheduled for June 11-14 in downtown Nashville. The list of performers also includes reigning CMA New Artist of the Year Award-winner Lady Antebellum, "Dancing with the Stars" cast-member Julianne Hough and six-time CMA Award nominee Miranda Lambert.
The CMA Music Festival, formerly known as Fan Fair, features four days of music, autograph signings, family activities and more.
This year's event will benefit music education in Nashville. CMA, in a partnership with the Nashville Alliance for Public Education, has donated more than $2 million to further music-education programs for more than 75,000 children in Metro Nashville Public Schools, according to a press release.
