Singer/songwriter Eric Hutchinson will rack up a few more frequent flyer miles beginning later this month as he continues to support his major-label debut.
Hutchinson, who recently was featured on VH1's "You Oughta Know" program, finished up a late-winter outing last week in Lake Tahoe, CA. The next leg of the trek kicks off March 27 in Jackson, MS, and runs through late May. Details are included below.
In April, Hutchinson will head overseas for a number of Australian appearances. Those dates can be found at his MySpace page.
Hutchinson continues to support "Sounds Like This," released in 2007 on the performer's own Let's Break Records label. The disc cracked The Billboard 200 chart and hit the top spot on the Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart.
The singer told LiveDaily recently that he has begun to come up with new material for a follow-up to the two-year-old album.
"I feel like I want to go in and record when I feel like the album is already written," he said. "I don't want to be in the studio trying to come up with stuff at the last minute to fill up an album.
"I've written probably 60 songs since I made 'Sounds Like This.' I'm very picky in particular about what I want to release."
