Singer/songwriter Kate Voegele will use her break from filming "One Tree Hill" to support her forthcoming sophomore album, "A Fine Mess," in clubs across the US.
The "Lift Me Up" spring and early summer outing gets underway April 24 in Salt Lake City and heads east, with a heavy concentration of shows throughout the Midwest. The trek finishes up on the West Coast, with the final stop currently slated for June 11 in Seattle. Details are below.
"A Fine Mess," which hits shelves May 19, follows Voegele's first full-length set, "Don't Look Away," which debuted in the Top 10 on iTunes Album Chart as well as Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and the Top Digital Albums chart.
The album's first single, "Manhattan From The Sky," premiered on the March 23 episode of "One Tree Hill," on which Voegele plays a young musician named Mia.
"They worked the song into the show so that it enhanced the scene, and in turn, the scene enhanced the song," Voegele said in a press release. "It was an amazing setup."
The songstress spent the latter part of 2008 headlining the "Back 2 School Tour"--sponsored by MySpace and the University of Phoenix--in support of her debut album.
