Ben Lee will hit the road alongside Low Vs Diamond for a spring co-headlining tour behind his forthcoming album, "The Rebirth of Venus."
Following a mid-April European run, Lee will hit the US tour trail the day after the album's release with an April 29 show in Pomona, CA. The trek continues along the West Coast through early May before touching down in a handful of Midwest cities on its way to the Northeast. The outing's final show is currently set for May 22 at New York City's Bowery Ballroom. Low Vs Diamond will double as Lee's backing band and the tour's opening act. The full itinerary is below.
Lee partnered with producer Brad Wood for his seventh studio effort, "The Rebirth of Venus," which hits stores April 28 and marks the fourth album the duo has worked on together, including Lee's critically acclaimed debut, "Grandpaw Would."
According to a press release, a portion of the album's proceeds will be donated to FINCA's Village Banking program, which offers financial services to low-income female entrepreneurs worldwide.
LA-based rock outfit Low Vs Diamond will be supporting its self-titled debut, which dropped last summer. The album's latest single, "Don't Forget Sister," was tagged by Rolling Stone as one of 2008's standout singles.
