Country singer Jason Aldean has mapped an exhaustive summer tour schedule as the performer starts to support his recently released third album, "Wide Open."
The Georgia-born singer gets the ball rolling May 3 in Clearwater, FL, with an appearance at the WQYK Country Fest. The tour currently comprises 45 date spread across parts of five months, and becomes peppered with summer festivals and county fairs as it progresses through summer. Aldean's schedule, which is included below, is capped off with a Sept. 19 slot at Lake Elsinore, CA's Wagon Wheel Festival.
"Wide Open," which surfaced earlier this month, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, with the leadoff single, "She's Country," reaching the same position on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. Several cuts from the set are streaming at Aldean's website.
The album is the follow-up to Aldean's sophomore effort, "Relentless," which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's country chart in the summer of 2007.
