Edwin McCain backs 'Nobody's Fault'

Edwin McCain has mapped out another round of US shows this summer behind his latest album, "Nobody's Fault But Mine."

The singer/songwriter, who spent much of the winter touring North America and parts of Europe, will return to the road with two back-to-back performances June 11 in Austin, TX, followed by 15 other stops. The outing, which concentrates on the South and East Coast, finishes up Aug. 28 in Atlanta. Details are below.

McCain's ninth studio effort, "Nobody's Fault But Mine," surfaced last June on the new Saguaro Road Records. The album features covers of R&B and soul songs from some of the performer's childhood heroes, including Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin. Singer Joan Osborne and Booker T. & The MG's guitarist Steve Cropper also contributed to the release.

McCain rose to fame in the late-'90s with his sophomore album, 1998's "Misguided Roses," and the record's hit single "I'll Be." His latest release, "Lost in America," which featured his most recent set of original material, surfaced in April 2006.
