Poison the Well will headline a summer club outing dubbed the "10 for $10 Summer Hardcore Tour," with at least nine more acts joining the lineup each night.
The run, which kicks off July 9 in Philadelphia, will crisscross the country before an Aug. 14 finale in Buffalo, NY. The itinerary also includes a handful of Canadian dates. Details are below.
Florida-based hardcore act Poison The Well will headline each show, while Madball, Bane and Vision of Disorder will take turns in the co-headlining spot. Opening duties will be distributed among Terror, Death Before Dishonor, War of Ages, Crime in Stereo, Trapped Under Ice, The Mongoloids, The Ghost Inside, This Is Hell and Vision.
"This tour is really exciting to us as it shows some massive diversity that occurs in the hardcore scene," PTW guitarist Ryan Primack said in a press release. "Some of the bands on this tour have really shaped the good things that are happening in hardcore right now. We're honored and privileged to be sharing the stage with them."
Poison the Well will release its fifth studio album, "The Tropic Rot," July 7, just in time for the North American outing.
The music merchandising website IndieMerchStore.com is sponsoring the summertime trek. Pre-sale tickets are available beginning today (5/19) at the tour's MySpace page.
