Report: Jay-Z's 'Blueprint 3' on track for Sept. 11 release
"Blueprint 3," the highly anticipated new studio set from rap icon Jay-Z , is expected to hit stores Sept. 11, Billboard reported.
Citing "numerous sources," Billboard said that a formal announcement is expected to air Sunday (6/7) on New York radio station Hot 97, and to be announced during the station's Summer Jam concert at New Jersey's Giants Stadium that same day.
Word of the album's release day comes just a few weeks after Jay-Z announced plans for a four-city tour that's set to take place next month.
