The crowds grew substantially for Day 2 of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on Friday (6/12.) Although scattered thunderstorms were in the forecast, the day, other than a five-minute evening shower, reportedly was rain-free.
Fans were treated to the music of Yeah Yeah Yeahs , Al Green , Ani DiFranco , Gomez , David Byrne, Santigold , St. Vincent, TV on the Radio , The Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear and Phoenix, to name a few. The artists who created the most buzz were Public Enemy , for performing their album "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back" in its entirety, and Beastie Boys who invited Nas to join them in an exclusive performance of a song from their upcoming album "Hot Sauce Committee."
