Singer/songwriter Paolo Nutini will kick off a North American headlining tour later this month in support of his latest studio effort, "Sunny Side Up."
The Scottish performer launches the outing July 20 in Amagansett, NY, with highlights of the trip including stops in New York City (7/21), Boston (7/24) and Los Angeles (9/11). The 26-city trek wraps up Sept. 19 in Seattle. Dates are below.
Nutini's sophomore album, "Sunny Side Up," surfaced earlier this month, debuting at No. 1 in the UK and No. 2 in Ireland, with the effort's first single, "Candy," peaking at No. 19 on the UK charts.
The video for "Candy," filmed in Cuba under the direction of Nez (Lily Allen, Kano), is currently streaming at Nutini's MySpace page.
The new album--which was co-produced by Nutini and Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams)--follows the singer's successful 2007 debut, "These Streets," which led to two Top 40 hits--"Last Request" and "New Shoes"--as well as a spot on Billboard's 2007 list of European Top 100 Albums.
