The Pogues map US return this fall

Irish folk-punk outfit The Pogues have lined up a fall headlining trek across American turf that the band hasn't trod upon in recent years.

The Shane MacGowan-led group, which has performed mainly on the West and East coasts during its recent US excursions, kicks off the outing Oct. 10 in Seattle.

After an initial West Coast swing, the tour shifts to the Southwest, beginning with an Oct. 21 show in Tempe, AZ. Following dates in Denver and Kansas City, MO, the tour concludes with a few Texas appearances, wrapping up Oct. 30 in Dallas. Details are included below.

Although The Pogues--who reunited in 2004--haven't released an album of original music since 1996's "Pogue Mahone," the band has remained busy on the reissue front. Last year, the group released a five-disc box set of outtakes and demos. "Just Look Them Straight In The Eye and Say ... POGUEMAHONE!!" features 109 tracks culled from the group's vaults, ranging from demos cut in 1983 to live recordings from the band's series of reunion shows in 2001.

In 2006, the group, in association with Rhino Records, released re-mastered and expanded versions of its first five studio albums: "Red Roses For Me" (1984), "Rum, Sodomy & The Lash" (1985), "If I Should Fall From Grace With God" (1988), "Peace And Love" (1989) and "Hell's Ditch" (1990). Each CD contains up to seven bonus songs, as well as completely new liner-note booklets.
