Mitchel Musso , also known as Oliver Oken on the Disney series "Hannah Montana," will follow up his recent high-charting debut with an array of summertime concerts.
The US trek--a mix of solo performances and shows alongside his brother's band, Metro Station --begins tonight in Mitchellville, MD. The summer outing will touch down at arenas, theaters and Six Flags locations nationwide through its Sept. 24 finale in New Orleans. Details are shown below.
Musso's self-titled solo album surfaced last month, debuting at No. 19 on The Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 on iTunes Pop chart. "Hey," the record's first single, peaked at No. 8 on iTunes Pop chart the week of its release and is currently in regular rotation on Radio Disney.
"I mean, I love Disney, but there hasn't been that one male solo artist," Musso told MTV recently. "Hopefully I can break through that. I think my music's more mature."
Musso, who voiced characters for "Phineas and Ferb" and "Monster House," made his film debut in 2003's "Secondhand Lions," which also featured his brother Marc. The actor/pop singer was also named one of MTV's "Male Pop Rookies of 2009" earlier this year.
