Snoop Dogg, Slightly Stoopid expand 'Blazed and Confused' outing

Snoop Dogg , Slightly Stoopid and Stephen Marley are preparing for the July 10th launch of their "Blazed and Confused" tour, and have added a few more stops to the North American run.

The acts will take to the road for a two-month outing that will visit amphitheaters in 22 cities throughout the nation. Since last check, four additional concerts have been added: Aug. 1 in Miami; Aug. 2 in Elkton, FL; Sept. 2 in St. Paul, MN; and Sept. 19 in Tempe. The full schedule is shown below.

Each performance will include opening sets from Stephen Marley and rapper Mickey Avalon, followed by full sets from Snoop Dogg and Slightly Stoopid.

Rapper Snoop Dogg, who wrapped a two-week headlining jaunt in mid-May, is slated to release his 10th studio album, "Malice in Wonderland," in September. The set features tracks produced by The Neptunes and Scott Storch, among others.

Reggae-influenced Slightly Stoopid released "Slightly Not Stoned Enough to Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid," the group's ninth album, last summer. The 21-track disc includes rarities, outtakes and "brand new studio joints," according to the band's website.

Stephen Marley released his solo debut, "Mind Control," in early 2007. The record, which topped Billboard's Top Reggae Albums chart, earned the son of reggae legend Bob Marley a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
