Jeremy Camp continues 'Speaking' through summer and fall

Contemporary Christian star Jeremy Camp will stay busy on the road this summer supporting his latest studio work, last fall's "Speaking Louder Than Before."

Camp, who just returned from a European tour, kicks off his summer US roadwork at the July 9 Kings Fest in Doswell, VA. After a steady slate of festival and fair appearances in July and August, the headlining portion of Camp's calendar gets underway Sept. 10 in Panama City, FL, and continues through late November. Dates are below.

"Speaking Louder Than Before," Camp's fifth studio album, surfaced last fall. The set debuted at No. 38 on The Billboard 200 chart, and the album's first single, "There Will Be a Day," in November topped the Hot Christian Songs chart, where it currently remains in the Top 10.

Camp worked with Grammy-winning producer Brown Bannister (Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith) on the record while camped inside a Nashville studio for five straight days, working 12 hours a day on the set, according to a press release.

"At this point, I have a more clear-cut purpose and vision of what I'm meant to do," he said in a statement. "I'm more purposeful in what I'm sharing. I see the hurt, the lack of direction, in this new generation. I always had a passion for youth, but this album is really aimed at them."

"Speaking Louder Than Before" is Camp's follow-up to his 2006 release, "Beyond Measure," which reached No. 29 on The Billboard 200.
