Classic-rock outfit Styx has mapped out a late-summer and fall itinerary, including more dates alongside REO Speedwagon on the "Can't Stop Rockin'" tour.
Styx's in-progress summer outing continues tonight (8/26) with a gig at Rapid City, SD's Central States Fair, followed by a handful of headlining shows throughout the Midwest and parts of Canada through mid-September. After a one-off concert Sept. 4 in Bismarck, ND, Styx will continue regular performances alongside REO Speedwagon, beginning with an Oct. 4 show in Tucson. The current schedule concludes with a Nov. 8 appearance in Columbus, OH. Details are below.
Styx and REO Speedwagon joined forces earlier this year to offer fans a budget-friendly tour with ticket prices as low as $13.50 in most cities. Before the road trip, the two classic-rock acts recorded a new single together, "Can't Stop Rockin'," which hit airwaves in March.
Styx's most recent release is 2006's "One With Everything," a live CD/DVD set showcasing the band's hit songs with accompaniment from The Contemporary Youth Orchestra of Cleveland.
