Post-hardcore rockers Saosin will spend the fall on the US tour trail in support of their recent release, "In Search of Solid Ground."
The extensive club and theater run, which kicks off Wednesday (10/21) in Tucson, will crisscross the nation, stopping by 36 major markets through mid-December. The tour concludes with a Dec. 20 performance in Anaheim, CA. Details are below.
"In Search of Solid Ground," Saosin's sophomore studio effort, hit shelves last month. The set follows the band's self-titled debut, which surfaced in 2006, and the more recent five-song EP "The Grey," which the band unveiled last fall.
"Our philosophy when we write music is basically to write music that we can listen to and show off to anybody, including people who are musicians who would typically intimidate me," lead singer Cove Reber explained in an interview with LiveDaily early last year. "People like Dave Grohl. We want to be able to go up to him and show off our record and be proud of that."
Saosin, pronounced SAY-ocean, includes bassist Chris Sorenson, drummer Alex Rodriguez and guitarists Justin Shekoski and Beau Burchell.
