Fuel has extended its current tour into December with the addition of 11 new dates, according to the group’s official website. The group has been on the road since Sept. 16 in support of its latest release, “Something Like Human.”
Ten of the 11 newly added dates take place in November, a month that had previously been occupied by a sole Nov. 4 stop in Austin, Texas. Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 dates have now been added in Dallas and Houston, respectively. The group jumps over to West Palm Beach, Fla., on Nov. 5 before heading to the Southwest for stops in Phoenix and Tucson.
A string of California dates follows, with a San Francisco performance on Nov. 12, a three-night stand at Hollywood’s Whisky a Go-Go on Nov. 14-16, and a San Bernardino show on Nov. 17. A Dec. 3 stop in Ithaca, N.Y., is the last show on the band’s current itinerary, according to the group’s website.
“Something Like Human” hit shelves on Sept. 19. The album’s first single, “Hemorrhage (In My Hands),” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Chart this week.
Fuel’s 1998 debut album, “Sunburn,” was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America earlier this year for shipping over one million copies. The disc featured the group’s hits “Shimmer,” “Jesus or the Gun” and “Bittersweet.”
