Jam-rockers Tea Leaf Green will launch a headlining trek early next year after they first say goodbye to 2009 with a New Year's Eve show in the desert.
The San Francisco-based band will close out the year in Phoenix before kicking off the headlining trek Jan. 13 in Breckenridge, CO. The 18-city schedule is currently set to wrap with a pair of shows beginning Feb. 13 in Crystal Bay, NV. Dates are below.
The group is getting back on the road following a few months of downtime after it toured extensively in support of last year's "Raise Up the Tent," the band's fifth studio album, which was produced by Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker kingpin David Lowery.
Streaming cuts from the set, which followed 2005s "Taught to Be Proud," can be found at the band's MySpace page.
Earlier this year, the band's acoustic "alter-ego," Coffee Bean Brown, released a live album, "Coffee Bean Brown Comes Alive," on the band's own Tea Leaf Green Partnership imprint. More info is available at the group's website.
